How Sketch to Part works

Nothing is modelled or printed without your say-so at each step.

Upload a photo

A phone photo of your sketch with the dimensions written on it is enough. Note the material or how many you need.

Check the numbers

We show every dimension we read. Anything we had to assume is marked, contradictions are flagged, and you correct them before anything is built.

See the model, get the price

Turn the 3D model around, adjust dimensions, add standard features, pick material and print preset. The price comes from the real slicer.

We print it

After a quick check by us the part goes into the queue. Follow it under My orders from queue to "printed".

Materials and print presets

The materials we keep loaded on the farm, and four presets that trade speed, finish and strength.

Choose one on the quote form; the price follows the preset.

Pricing

Printing time by the hour, filament by the kilogram.

Price per part = printing time × hourly rate + filament weight × price per kg. Both come from slicing your actual part in your material and preset. You see the price before you order, and it does not change afterwards.
